Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Mix the dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

Cream the butter and sugar: In a large bowl, using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the softened butter and granulated sugar on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.

Incorporate the eggs and vanilla: Add in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.

Add the buttermilk: Gradually add the buttermilk to the mixture while continuing to beat on low speed, just until combined.

Combine dry and wet ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Fold in blueberries and chocolate chips: Gently fold in the blueberries and white chocolate chips using a spatula until evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Fill the cupcake liners: Divide the batter evenly among the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.

Bake the cupcakes: Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Prepare the frosting: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar one cup at a time until well combined and fluffy. Mix in the melted white chocolate and vanilla extract. Add heavy cream 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired frosting consistency.

Frost the cupcakes: Once the cupcakes are completely cooled, generously frost each cupcake with the white chocolate frosting using a piping bag or a spatula.

Garnish and Serve: Top each frosted cupcake with a fresh blueberry for decoration. Serve and enjoy your delightful White Chocolate Blueberry Cupcakes!
