Ingredients

1 large round sourdough bread loaf

8 oz Brie cheese (cut into small cubes)

1 cup fresh cranberries (or 1/2 cup cranberry sauce)

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup pecans (chopped)

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon fresh rosemary (finely chopped)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prep the Bread: Using a serrated knife, cut the sourdough loaf into a grid pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through the bottom. This will create pull-apart sections.

Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, chopped pecans, honey, rosemary, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt. Mix well to form a thick paste.

Stuff the Bread: Gently pull apart the sections of the bread and stuff them with pieces of Brie cheese followed by the fresh cranberries or cranberry sauce. Ensure even distribution throughout the bread.

Add the Mixture: Spoon the brown sugar mixture into the bread, allowing it to seep down into each crevice.

Brush with Butter: Drizzle or brush the melted butter over the entire loaf, ensuring it seeps into the cuts and enhances the flavor.

Wrap and Bake: Wrap the stuffed bread in aluminum foil and place it on a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is warm.

Unwrap and Serve: Carefully unwrap the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes to create a slightly crispy outer layer.

Garnish: Optionally, sprinkle some extra fresh rosemary or chopped pecans on top for garnish.

Serve Warm: Serve the bread warm, allowing guests to pull apart the individual sections. Perfect for dipping and enjoying during holiday celebrations!
