Ingredients
ย ย

1 cup hearts of palm, drained and shredded

1 cup raw cashews, soaked for 4 hours and drained

1 tablespoon nutritional yeast

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or more to taste)

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice level)

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup vegan cream cheese

Salt to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Tortilla chips or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions
ย

Prepare the Cashew Base: In a high-speed blender or food processor, combine the soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water, one tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.

Mix in the Crab Substitute: In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded hearts of palm. Gently fold in the creamy cashew base, making sure to leave some chunks of hearts of palm for texture.

Season the Dip: Add the Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, and chopped green onions. Stir until well combined, adjusting spices and salt to taste. If you like it spicier, feel free to add more cayenne.

Incorporate Vegan Cream Cheese: Fold in the vegan cream cheese until just combined. This adds a rich creaminess to the dip.

Chill and Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Garnish & Enjoy: Before serving, sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve with tortilla chips or sliced baguette for dipping.
