Tuna Macaroni Salad

Ingredients
  

2 cups elbow macaroni

1 can (5 oz) tuna, drained and flaked

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup celery, finely chopped

1/2 cup red onion, finely diced

1/4 cup black olives, sliced

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon dried dill

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.

    Prepare the Veggies: In the same mixing bowl, add the flaked tuna, cherry tomatoes, celery, red onion, and black olives to the cooled macaroni.

      Make the Dressing: In a separate bowl, combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, dried dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well until smooth.

        Combine Everything: Pour the dressing over the macaroni mixture and toss gently until everything is fully coated. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

          Chill and Serve: Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Before serving, give it a good stir and garnish with fresh chopped parsley if desired.
