Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)

3 tablespoons white miso paste

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 tablespoon soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your broiler on high and position the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.

In a mixing bowl, combine the white miso paste, maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.

Place the salmon fillets on a broiler-safe baking sheet, skin-side down.

Generously spread the miso mixture over the top of each salmon fillet, ensuring they are well-coated.

Broil the salmon for 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the top is caramelized and golden brown. (Cooking time may vary based on the thickness of the fillets.)

Remove from the oven and let the salmon rest for a minute.

Garnish with finely chopped green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.

                Prep Time: 5 min | Total Time: 8 min | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the salmon on a platter, drizzled with the pan juices and accompanied by steamed rice or a fresh green salad. For an added touch, place a few lime wedges on the side for an extra zing.
