Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

2 cups elbow macaroni

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)

2 cups beef broth

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon sugar (to balance acidity)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Macaroni: In a large pot, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Brown the Beef: In a large skillet or pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant and the onion is translucent, about 2–3 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned and cooked through (about 5–7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add the Sauce: Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, sugar, and season with salt and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

Combine Pasta and Beef Mixture: Once simmering, reduce the heat to low and add the cooked macaroni to the beef mixture. Stir well to combine, allowing the pasta to soak up the flavors of the sauce. Let it cook together for about 5 minutes.

Cheesy Finish: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the Beefaroni. Cover the pot for a couple of minutes to let the cheese melt.

Serve: Once the cheese is melted, give it a final stir. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Enjoy: Serve warm in bowls and enjoy this comforting dish with your family!
