Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 cup cooked macaroni pasta

1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)

1/2 cup cream cheese (softened)

1/2 cup cooked bacon (chopped)

1/4 cup milk

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

4 hamburger buns

4 slices cheddar cheese (for topping)

Lettuce, tomato, and pickles (for garnish)

Optional: BBQ sauce

Instructions

Prepare the Mac 'n' Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, chopped bacon, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the pasta is coated and the cheese starts to melt. Set aside.

Form the Burger Patties: Divide the ground beef into four equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

Cook the Patties: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assemble the Burgers: Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden. Spread a generous amount of the mac 'n' cheese mixture on the bottom bun. Place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top of the mac 'n' cheese.

Add Toppings: Top the patty with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Drizzle with BBQ sauce if desired. Finish by placing the top bun over the toppings.

Serve: Serve the burgers immediately while the cheese is melty and enjoy the glorious layers of flavor!
