Ingredients

4 large flour tortillas

1 cup cooked ground beef (or turkey)

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 medium tomato, diced

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

1 small can sliced black olives (optional)

1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)

Salsa, for dipping

Instructions

Prepare the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and add the taco seasoning mix along with a splash of water. Stir well and let simmer for about 5 minutes until fully incorporated. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.

Layer the Fillings: On a large plate or clean countertop, lay out a flour tortilla. Spread a generous spoonful of sour cream over the entire surface of the tortilla.

Add the Taco Mixture: Evenly distribute a portion of the seasoned ground beef across the tortilla, leaving about an inch border around the edges.

Sprinkle Toppings: Add a layer of shredded cheddar cheese, followed by shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, black olives, and cilantro. If desired, add slices of jalapeño for an extra kick.

Roll It Up: Starting from one end, carefully roll the tortilla tightly but gently toward the other end, folding in the edges as you go to secure the filling inside.

Slice & Serve: Once rolled, slice the tortilla rolls into bite-sized pieces (about 1-2 inches thick). Arrange them on a serving platter and serve with salsa on the side for dipping.

Enjoy: Enjoy your delicious Taco Tortilla Roll Ups as a fun appetizer or snack!
