Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1/4 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon paprika

Fresh thyme or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, black pepper, salt, and paprika until well combined.

Marinate the Pork Chops: Place the pork chops in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chops, ensuring they are well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to 4 hours for more flavor).

Preheat the Grill or Skillet: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, or heat a large skillet over medium heat on the stove.

Cook the Pork Chops: Remove the pork chops from the marinade (reserving the marinade) and place them on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Glaze the Chops: In the last few minutes of cooking, brush the reserved marinade over the pork chops to enhance the flavor and create a glaze.

Rest the Meat: Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the grill or skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes. This helps retain the juices.

Serve: Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley if desired, and serve the sweet honey garlic pork chops with your favorite side dishes, such as roasted vegetables or rice.
