Ingredients

1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

Salt and pepper to taste

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the honey, Sriracha sauce, minced garlic, soy sauce, grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper until well combined. This will be your marinade.

Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for deeper flavor.

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In an oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken thighs and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Once the chicken is seared, pour any remaining marinade over the chicken and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).

Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Slice the chicken and drizzle with the pan juices.

Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
