Ingredients

For the Steak:

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

For the Shrimp:

12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Zesty Chimichurri:

1 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 cup olive oil

3 tablespoons red wine vinegar

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Chimichurri Sauce:

    - In a mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped parsley, cilantro, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and oregano.

      - Slowly whisk in the olive oil and red wine vinegar until well combined.

        - Season with salt and pepper to taste.

          - Let the chimichurri sit for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

            Cook the Steak:

              - Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature (about 20-30 minutes).

                - Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil.

                  - Season both sides of the steaks generously with salt and pepper.

                    - Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time based on your preferred doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest.

                      Cook the Shrimp:

                        - In a bowl, toss the shrimp with minced garlic, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

                          - In a separate skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp.

                            - Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.

                              Serve:

                                - Slice the steak against the grain and arrange on a platter alongside the shrimp.

                                  - Drizzle with the zesty chimichurri sauce or serve it on the side for dipping.

                                    Enjoy!

                                      - Pair your Surf & Turf Delight with a side of roasted vegetables or garlic mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
