Ingredients

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

3/4 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

Ice cubes

Lemon slices and whole strawberries for garnish

Fresh mint leaves (optional for garnish)

Instructions

In a blender, add the sliced strawberries and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the seeds and pulp, pressing with the back of a spoon to extract all the juice.

In the same pitcher, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and the granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Pour in the remaining cold water (3 cups) and stir well. Taste the lemonade and add more sugar or water to adjust the sweetness and strength to your liking.

Chill the strawberry lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Serve over ice in tall glasses, garnished with lemon slices, whole strawberries, and fresh mint leaves if desired.
