Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced strawberries and honey. Blend until smooth and puréed.

Add the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender. Blend again until all ingredients are well combined and the mixture is smooth.

Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if needed by adding more honey or maple syrup.

Pour the strawberry yogurt mixture into a shallow, freezer-safe container.

Spread the mixture evenly and cover with a lid or plastic wrap.

Freeze for about 4-6 hours or until firm.

To serve, let the frozen yogurt sit at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes to soften slightly for easier scooping.

Scoop the frozen yogurt into bowls and garnish with fresh strawberry slices if desired.
