Ingredients

8 oz. fettuccine or linguine

1 lb. steak (sirloin or ribeye), thinly sliced

3 tbsp olive oil, divided

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sear the Steak: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the sliced steak with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes until browned but still medium rare. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Add the minced garlic and cherry tomatoes, cooking for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant and the tomatoes start to soften.

Create the Sauce: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Continue to stir until the sauce thickens slightly, about 2-3 minutes. Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Combine: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet along with the sliced steak. Toss everything together to coat the pasta and steak in the creamy sauce.

Serve: Plate the steak pasta and garnish with fresh basil leaves and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
