1 (10 oz) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained

1 (14 oz) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup sour cream

1 cup mayonnaise

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup breadcrumbs (for topping)

2 tablespoons olive oil (for toasting breadcrumbs)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Prepare the Spinach: In a large bowl, combine the thawed and drained spinach with the chopped artichoke hearts.

Make the Creamy Mixture: In another bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, half of the shredded mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, red pepper flakes (if using), and season with salt and pepper.

Combine Ingredients: Add the spinach and artichoke mixture to the creamy mixture. Stir until well combined.

Transfer to Casserole Dish: Pour the combined mixture into a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish and spread evenly.

Prepare Breadcrumb Topping: In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with the olive oil until well coated. Sprinkle the breadcrumbs evenly over the casserole.

Top with Cheese: Finally, sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top of the breadcrumb layer.

Bake: Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a few minutes, then serve warm as a delicious side dish or appetizer!
