1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

For the Surf and Turf:

1 pound steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

Juice of 1 lemon

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Grilled Vegetables:

2 bell peppers (any color), sliced

1 zucchini, sliced

1 red onion, sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Cajun Seasoning: In a small bowl, combine paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, thyme, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix well and set aside.

Marinate the Shrimp: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of the Cajun seasoning, olive oil, and lemon juice. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Prepare the Steak: Rub the steak with the remaining Cajun seasoning, pressing it into the meat to ensure it adheres. Let it sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes.

Prepare Grilled Vegetables: In a large bowl, toss the sliced bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Set them aside.

Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

Grill the Steak: Place the steak on the grill and cook for 4-6 minutes per side (for medium-rare), depending on thickness. After grilling, remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Grill the Shrimp: On skewers or directly on the grill, cook the marinated shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they're pink and opaque. Brush with melted butter while grilling for added flavor.

Grill the Vegetables: On the grill or a grill basket, place the mixed vegetables and grill for about 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are charred and tender.

Serve: Slice the rested steak and arrange on a platter. Add the grilled shrimp and vegetables around the steak. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with additional lemon wedges if desired.
