Ingredients

For the Spicy Cajun Steak:

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon butter for finishing

For the Creamy Alfredo Pasta:

8 ounces fettuccine or pasta of your choice

2 tablespoons butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak:

    - Take the steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before cooking to bring them to room temperature.

      - Pat the steaks dry with a paper towel, then generously rub both sides with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

        Cook the Pasta:

          - In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about ½ cup of pasta water.

            Cook the Steak:

              - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned steaks to the skillet.

                - Sear the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time according to your desired doneness.

                  - In the last minute of cooking, add butter to the pan and baste the steaks with the melted butter for added flavor. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes.

                    Make the Alfredo Sauce:

                      - In the same skillet used for the steak, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

                        - Pour in the heavy cream and stir. Allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

                          - Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until you reach your desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

                            Combine Pasta and Sauce:

                              - Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.

                                Serve:

                                  - Slice the Spicy Cajun Steak against the grain and serve on a plate alongside a generous portion of creamy Alfredo pasta. Garnish with fresh parsley for a pop of color and flavor.

                                    Enjoy!
