Ingredients

For the Spicy Cajun Shrimp:

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)

1 tablespoon olive oil

3 garlic cloves, minced

Juice of 1 lime

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Grilled Steak:

1 pound ribeye steak (or your favorite cut)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For Serving:

Lime wedges

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak:

    - In a bowl, combine the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over the ribeye steak. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).

      Prepare the Shrimp:

        - In another bowl, combine the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, minced garlic, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.

          Preheat the Grill:

            - Preheat your grill to high heat (or a grill pan on the stovetop). Ensure the grates are clean and well-oiled to prevent sticking.

              Grill the Steak:

                - Place the marinated steak on the hot grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (or longer for desired doneness). Use a meat thermometer for precision (135°F for medium-rare).

                  - Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

                    Grill the Shrimp:

                      - In a grill basket or skewers, add the marinated shrimp. Grill for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through. Be careful not to overcook them.

                        Serve:

                          - Slice the steak against the grain and arrange it on a plate. Top with the grilled shrimp.

                            - Garnish with fresh parsley and lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.
