Ingredients

4 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

4 cups water

4 black tea bags

1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Ice cubes

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

Once boiling, remove the saucepan from heat and add the black tea bags. Steep for about 5 minutes, then remove the tea bags.

In a blender, add the sliced peaches and blend until smooth. If you prefer chunks of peach in your tea, you can pulse it a few times instead of blending it completely.

Strain the blended peach mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove the pulp. This will leave you with a smooth peach juice.

Stir the sugar into the warm tea until it completely dissolves.

Add the peach juice and fresh lemon juice to the sweetened tea and mix well.

Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate it for at least 1 hour to chill.

Serve the peach tea over ice cubes in tall glasses. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of lemon for a refreshing touch.
