Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

4 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup diced pickled jalapenos (adjust to taste)

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

Preheat your skillet on medium heat. Lightly grease the skillet with cooking spray or a drizzle of olive oil.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cilantro, if using. Mix until well combined to form a creamy filling.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a flat surface. Pinch the seams together to create a solid sheet of dough.

Spread the jalapeno cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Starting from the long edge, carefully roll the dough into a tight log. Pinch the seam to seal and cut the log into 1-inch thick slices.

Place the slices cut side down in the preheated skillet, spacing them about an inch apart.

Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and fully cooked through. Be sure to check occasionally to prevent burning.

Once cooked, remove the lid, and allow the rolls to cool slightly before serving.

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the rolls warm, garnished with extra chopped cilantro and a drizzle of ranch or sour cream on the side for dipping. Arrange on a wooden board for a rustic look.
