Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Remove the steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat dry with a paper towel and season generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.

Cook the Steaks: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time for desired doneness). Remove the steaks from the skillet and place them on a cutting board to rest.

Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Be careful not to burn it.

Add Cream and Flavors: Pour in the heavy cream, then stir in the Dijon mustard, thyme, and Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Finish the Sauce: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and continue cooking for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve: Slice the steaks against the grain and arrange them on plates. Drizzle the garlic cream sauce generously over the steak. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.

Enjoy: Serve with your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
