Ingredients

1.5 lbs flank steak, trimmed and cut into 1-inch cubes

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons sriracha sauce (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons lime juice (freshly squeezed)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Zest of 1 lime

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)

Lime wedges (for serving)

Skewers (wooden or metal, soaked if wooden)

Instructions

Marinate the Steak: In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sriracha sauce, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, black pepper, and lime zest. Add the cubed flank steak to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Prepare the Grill: If using a charcoal grill, light the coals and allow them to ash over, then spread them evenly. If using a gas grill, preheat it to medium-high.

Skewering: Thread the marinated steak cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

Oil the Grill: Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking.

Grill the Skewers: Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until desired doneness (medium-rare is about 130°F to 135°F internal temperature). Rotate the skewers to ensure even cooking and nice char marks.

Serve: Remove the skewers from the grill and allow them to rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with lime wedges for an extra burst of flavor. Enjoy your sizzling steak skewers with rice or a fresh salad!
