Ingredients

1 lb frozen French fries (or homemade)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup crumbled bacon (cooked and crispy)

1/4 cup green onions (sliced)

1/4 cup sour cream

1/4 cup jalapeños (sliced, pickled or fresh, optional for heat)

1 tbsp olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp paprika

Instructions

Prep the Fries: Preheat your oven according to the fries package instructions, typically around 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen French fries on a baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper, and toss to coat evenly.

Bake: Bake the fries in the oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Cheese Melt: Once the fries are cooked, remove them from the oven. Immediately sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the hot fries, allowing it to melt perfectly.

Add Toppings: When the cheese has melted, sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top of the cheesy fries. Add sliced jalapeños if you desire a spicy kick and top with sliced green onions.

Serve with Sour Cream: Serve the loaded fries hot, drizzling sour cream over the top or serving it on the side for dipping.

Garnish and Enjoy: Add an extra sprinkle of green onions and some freshly cracked black pepper before indulging in your Sizzling Loaded Bacon Cheese Fries.
