Ingredients

For the Savory Steak Bites:

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

Salt, to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Creamy Mashed Potatoes:

2 lbs russet potatoes, peeled and quartered

½ cup heavy cream (or milk)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

Salt, to taste

¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Fresh chives or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steak Bites:

    - In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, paprika, black pepper, and salt.

      - Add the cubed sirloin steak to the marinade, ensuring each bite is coated well. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor).

        Cook the Steak Bites:

          - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated steak bites to the skillet in a single layer (you may need to cook them in batches to avoid overcrowding).

            - Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time for your preferred doneness. Remove from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.

              Make the Creamy Mashed Potatoes:

                - While the steak bites are cooking, place the peeled and quartered potatoes in a large pot. Cover with cold water and add a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil over high heat.

                  - Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium and cook for about 15-20 minutes or until the potatoes are fork-tender.

                    - Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter and heavy cream (or milk) to the potatoes, and mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and garlic powder (if using) to taste.

                      Serve:

                        - Plate the creamy mashed potatoes and top with the savory steak bites. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley or chives. Serve immediately for a warm and satisfying meal.
