1 package (1 lb) refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

    On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.

      Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

        Evenly layer the sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese.

          In a small bowl, mix together the grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Sprinkle this mixture over the pepperoni layer.

            Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough tightly into a log shape, sealing the edges to prevent filling from spilling out.

              Using a sharp knife, slice the rolled dough into 1-inch thick pieces and place them cut-side up on the prepared baking sheet.

                Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden finish during baking.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

                    Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

                      Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
