2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips

4 cups green cabbage, finely shredded

1 large carrot, julienned

1 bell pepper (any color), sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 inch piece of ginger, grated

3 tablespoons soy sauce (low-sodium preferred)

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

2 tablespoons sesame oil (divided)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 green onions, chopped

Salt and pepper, to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the Chicken: Season the sliced chicken with salt, pepper, and half of the soy sauce. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.

    Heat the Pan: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil and the olive oil over medium-high heat.

      Cook the Chicken: Add the marinated chicken to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and slightly golden. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

        Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

          Add Cabbage and Carrots: Toss in the shredded cabbage, julienned carrot, and sliced bell pepper. Stir-fry for about 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp without losing their vibrant colors.

            Combine Chicken and Sauces: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Pour in the remaining soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Mix everything well so the chicken and veggies are fully coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
