Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained

1 pound spicy or mild breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: Chopped green onions or cilantro for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with non-stick cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

Unroll the crescent roll dough onto a clean surface and separate into triangles as indicated on the packaging.

Take a spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture and place it at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Roll the dough from the wide end to the pointed end, ensuring the filling is securely wrapped inside. Place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a serving platter.

If desired, garnish with chopped green onions or cilantro before serving. Enjoy warm!
