Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups fresh spinach, chopped

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup walnuts, chopped

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Pinch of nutmeg

Zest of 1 lemon

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

Add the chopped spinach to the skillet and stir until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.

Reduce the heat to low and pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently to combine with the spinach and garlic.

Slowly add the chopped walnuts and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.

Season the sauce with salt, pepper, a pinch of nutmeg, and lemon zest. Mix well to incorporate the flavors.

Allow the sauce to simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Remove from heat and toss the sauce with your cooked ravioli until well coated.

Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves and an extra sprinkle of Parmesan if desired.
