Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced (ribeye or sirloin recommended)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup beef broth

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and bell pepper, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until they are softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.

Cook the Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced steak to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the beef is browned but still tender.

Make the Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the softened cream cheese to the skillet. Mix well until it begins to melt. Gradually stir in the beef broth, mixing until smooth and creamy.

Combine Pasta and Cheese: Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Stir in the provolone and Parmesan cheese until melted and the pasta is well-coated in the creamy sauce.

Serve: Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley for a pop of color and freshness.
