Ingredients

1 (8 oz) tube crescent roll dough

1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

1 medium green bell pepper, thinly sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cook the steak: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and heat until shimmering. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak, season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the vegetables: In the same skillet, add sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until the vegetables are softened and onions are translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic, cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat.

Combine steak and veggies: Add the cooked steak back into the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Mix thoroughly to combine.

Prepare the crescent ring: Roll out the crescent dough on a clean surface. Arrange the triangles in a circle on your baking sheet, overlapping them slightly in the middle and leaving the pointed ends hanging outwards to form a ring.

Fill the crescent ring: Spoon the steak-veggie mixture onto the wide part of the crescent dough ring. Sprinkle shredded provolone and mozzarella cheese evenly over the mixture.

Wrap it up: Fold the pointed ends of the crescent dough over the filling to seal and create a ring shape. Press the edges to secure them well.

Brush with egg wash: Using a pastry brush, apply a layer of beaten egg over the crescent ring for a golden finish.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and cooked through.

Cool and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
