Ingredients
  

1 lb (450g) shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)

1 cup pesto sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped

1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped

12 slider buns (preferably Hawaiian or brioche)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional: extra basil for garnish

Instructions
 

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Prepare the Chicken Mixture: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, and chopped basil. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

      Prepare the Buns: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves intact. Place the bottom half of the buns in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

        Assemble the Sliders: Spread the chicken and pesto mixture evenly over the bottom half of the slider buns. Place the top halves of the buns on top.

          Butter the Buns: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Brush this mixture generously over the tops of the slider buns.
