Ingredients

1 package refrigerated pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup sliced pepperoni

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 egg (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper.

Prepare the Dough: Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about ¼ inch thick.

Layer the Ingredients: Evenly sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the entire surface of the dough. Then, layer the sliced pepperoni on top of the cheese. Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning over the pepperoni.

Roll It Up: Starting from one long side, carefully roll up the dough tightly into a log, encasing the cheese and pepperoni. Pinch the edges to seal.

Slice the Rolls: Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, cut the rolled dough into 1-inch thick slices. You should have about 12-14 rolls.

Prepare for Baking: Place the sliced rolls on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up. Brush the tops with olive oil and beat the egg in a small bowl; then brush this egg wash over each roll for a golden finish.

Bake the Rolls: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 12-14 rolls
