Ingredients

1 cup chopped pecans, toasted

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup light brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup whipped topping (like Cool Whip)

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon salt

Optional: graham crackers or apple slices for serving

Instructions

Prepare the Pecans: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the chopped pecans on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant. Keep an eye on them to avoid burning. Once toasted, remove from the oven and let cool.

Mix the Cream Cheese Base: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add the powdered sugar, light brown sugar, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon. Continue beating until well combined and fluffy.

Incorporate Whipped Topping: Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is combined and light in texture. Be careful not to overmix; you want to keep the dip airy.

Add the Pecans and Maple Syrup: Stir in the toasted pecans, maple syrup, and salt. Mix until everything is evenly distributed. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more powdered sugar or maple syrup based on your preference.

Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Optionally, sprinkle a few additional chopped pecans and a dash of cinnamon on top for garnish. Serve immediately with graham crackers or apple slices for dipping.
