Ingredients

1 package (15.5 oz) Oreo cookies

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 tsp peppermint extract

2 cups white chocolate chips

1/4 cup crushed candy canes (for garnish and flavor)

Extra crushed Oreos (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In a food processor, crush the Oreo cookies until you have fine crumbs.

In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Add peppermint extract and mix until fully combined and a thick dough forms.

Using your hands, scoop out small portions of the dough (about 1 tablespoon) and roll them into balls. Place the truffle balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chill the truffles in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.

While the truffles are chilling, melt the white chocolate chips. You can do this in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between each, until smooth.

Once the truffles are firm, dip each ball into the melted white chocolate, using a fork to coat evenly. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.

Place the dipped truffles back on the parchment paper. Before the chocolate hardens, sprinkle crushed candy canes and/or extra crushed Oreos on top for decoration.

Let the truffles set at room temperature until the chocolate is completely hardened. For a quicker setting, you can chill them in the refrigerator again for about 15 minutes.

Once set, store your No-Bake Peppermint Oreo Truffles in an airtight container in the fridge until ready to serve.
