Ingredients

1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

1/2 cup diced pickles

1/2 cup diced onions

1/2 cup Thousand Island dressing

1 tablespoon mustard

1 tablespoon ketchup

12 small slider buns or mini burger buns

Salt and pepper, to taste

Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Patties: In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and pepper. Divide the meat into 12 equal portions and shape them into small burger patties.

Cook the Patties: Preheat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until they reach your desired level of doneness. Once flipped, add the shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty to melt while cooking (about 1 minute).

Warm the Buns: While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the mini buns on the grill or in the oven until they are golden brown.

Assemble the Burgers: On the bottom half of each bun, spread a layer of Thousand Island dressing. Place a cheeseburger patty on top, followed by some shredded lettuce, diced onions, and pickles.

Add the Top Bun: Spread a little mustard and ketchup on the top half of the bun before placing it on top of the assembled burger.

Serve: Arrange the mini cheeseburgers on a serving platter. Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds over the top buns for an authentic look.

Enjoy: Serve immediately with your favorite side dishes, such as fries or a simple salad.
