Ingredients

20 jumbo pasta shells

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

2 cups spinach, fresh or frozen (thawed and drained)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

2 cups marinara sauce

Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook pasta shells: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the jumbo pasta shells for about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Prepare filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cooked shrimp, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese (reserve some for topping), Parmesan cheese, spinach, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.

Fill shells: Carefully stuff each cooked pasta shell with the chicken and shrimp mixture, using a spoon or piping bag for ease.

Layer marinara: Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce evenly across the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Arrange the stuffed shells on top.

Add sauce and toppings: Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the stuffed shells, then sprinkle the reserved mozzarella cheese on top.

Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and the cheese is golden brown.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
