Ingredients

2 packages (14 oz each) Little Smokies sausages

1 cup barbecue sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

1 cup grape jelly

1/2 cup diced onion (optional)

1 tablespoon mustard (yellow or Dijon)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, grape jelly, diced onion, mustard, garlic powder, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are smoothly integrated.

Gently fold in the Little Smokies sausages, ensuring they are all coated in the sauce mix.

Transfer the mixture into a slow cooker and cover with the lid. Set on low heat. Let the sausages simmer for about 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.

For a quicker method, preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pour the sausage mixture into a large baking dish and bake uncovered for about 30-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.

Once heated through and bubbly, remove from the heat. If desired, sprinkle with fresh parsley for a touch of color.

Serve warm in a bowl with toothpicks for easy snacking.
