Ingredients

1 box of Little Debbie Snack Cakes (any flavor, such as Swiss Rolls, Zebra Cakes, or Honey Buns)

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

2 cups milk chocolate chips

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional: Sprinkles or crushed nuts for decoration

Optional: Additional flavoring (such as almond extract) if desired

Instructions

Crumble the Cakes: Begin by removing the Little Debbie cakes from their packaging. Place them in a large mixing bowl and use your hands or a fork to crumble them into fine pieces.

Mix in Cream Cheese: Add the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract to the crumbled cakes. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are fully combined and form a smooth, dough-like consistency.

Shape the Balls: Using your hands, take a small amount of the mixture (about 1 tablespoon) and roll it into a ball. Repeat with the rest of the mixture and place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chill the Balls: Once all the cake balls are shaped, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow them to firm up.

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the milk chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until it’s completely smooth.

Dip the Cake Balls: Take the chilled cake balls out of the refrigerator. Using a fork or a toothpick, dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Tap off any excess chocolate and return it to the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Decorate (Optional): If desired, sprinkle some crushed nuts or colorful sprinkles on top of the chocolate-coated cake balls before they set.

Let Set: Allow the chocolate to cool and harden at room temperature or place the cake balls in the refrigerator for 15 more minutes to speed up the process.

Serve and Enjoy: Once set, transfer the Little Debbie Cake Balls to a serving plate and enjoy them as a sweet treat or dessert!
