Ingredients
  

1 cup leftover mac 'n' cheese

4 slices of bread (your choice, sourdough or whole wheat recommended)

4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Mixture: In a bowl, combine the leftover mac 'n' cheese with the crumbled bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well until everything is evenly distributed.

    Assemble the Sandwich: Take two slices of bread and generously pile the mac 'n' cheese mixture onto one slice. Top with another slice of bread to create a sandwich. Repeat with the remaining slices and mixture.

      Butter the Bread: Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the outside of each sandwich to help achieve that golden, crispy crust.

        Cook the Sandwiches: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melty. If necessary, cover the skillet to help the cheese melt evenly.
