Ingredients

1 package (16 oz) King's Hawaiian Sweet Rolls

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained

1/4 cup shredded coconut

1/4 cup chopped macadamia nuts

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Additional shredded coconut for garnish

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Gently fold in the drained crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, and chopped macadamia nuts into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.

Carefully slice each King's Hawaiian Sweet Roll in half horizontally to create a top and bottom layer.

Place the bottom half of the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, cut side up.

Spoon a generous amount of the cheesecake mixture onto each bottom half, spreading it evenly.

Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheesecake mixture.

Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg to give them a lovely golden color when baked.

Sprinkle additional shredded coconut on top of the egg-washed rolls for extra texture and flavor.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and slightly crispy.

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before serving.

For garnish, sprinkle extra shredded coconut and add mint leaves if desired.
