Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 cups broccoli florets

1 cup heavy cream

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons cream cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Chicken:

    - Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5–7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and golden brown. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing into strips.

      Cook the Broccoli:

        - In the same skillet, add a splash of water and bring it to a boil. Add broccoli florets, cover, and steam for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.

          Make the Alfredo Sauce:

            - In the same pan, lower the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Whisk together until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

              Combine Everything:

                - Add the sliced chicken and steamed broccoli to the Alfredo sauce. Stir gently to coat everything in the sauce and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.

                  Serve:

                    - Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serve immediately while hot.
