Ingredients

1 package of wonton wrappers (about 48 pieces)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2-3 fresh jalapeños, seeds removed and finely chopped (adjust based on heat preference)

1/4 cup green onions, chopped

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Olive oil spray

Optional: crispy bacon bits for topping

Optional: sour cream and additional jalapeño slices for serving

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare Wonton Wrappers: Lightly grease a muffin tin with olive oil spray. Take each wonton wrapper and gently press it into the muffin cups, making sure to mold it to the shape of the cup.

Bake Wonton Cups: Bake the wonton wrappers in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are lightly golden and crisp. Remove from the oven and set aside to cool slightly.

Make the Filling: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, chopped jalapeños, chopped green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Fill Wonton Cups: Spoon the cheese and jalapeño mixture into each baked wonton cup, filling them generously but ensuring not to overfill.

Bake Again: Return the filled wonton cups to the oven and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Optional Toppings: If desired, sprinkle crispy bacon bits on top of the hot cups for added flavor and texture right before serving.

Serve & Enjoy: Remove the wonton cups from the oven, let them cool for a minute, and then serve them warm. For a refreshing touch, you can serve them with a side of sour cream and extra jalapeño slices.
