Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (preferably 80/20 for juiciness)

¼ cup Jack Daniels BBQ sauce (non-alcoholic)

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

4 slices cheddar cheese

4 burger buns (preferably brioche or whole wheat)

Lettuce leaves

1 medium tomato, sliced

Pickles (optional)

Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined; avoid over mixing for a tender burger.

Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat and lightly brush it with olive oil.

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them.

Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty after flipping; cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burger reaches your desired doneness.

Meanwhile, toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a separate pan until golden brown.

Assemble the burgers: on each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cheesy burger patty, sliced tomato, and pickles if desired. Top with the other half of the bun.

Serve immediately and enjoy your flavorful Jack Daniels Whiskey Burger!
