1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)

1 cup mini marshmallows

Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

      Cream Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

        Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

          Combine Mixtures: Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

            Fold in Chocolate Chips and Marshmallows: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and mini marshmallows until they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.

              Scoop the Dough: Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
