Ingredients

1.5 lbs pork tenderloin

1/3 cup honey

1/4 cup soy sauce

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Instructions

Marinade Preparation: In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, apple cider vinegar, olive oil, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes if using. This will be your marinade.

Tenderloin Marinade: Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork and seal the bag or cover the dish. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or up to overnight for deeper flavor).

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Sear the Pork: Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and sear it in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it gets a nice golden brown crust.

Bake Pork: Once seared, pour the reserved marinade over the pork and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

Rest and Slice: Once done, remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute for a more tender result. Slice the pork into medallions.

Garnish and Serve: Drizzle with any remaining sauce from the skillet, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.

Enjoy: Serve alongside steamed rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal!
