Ingredients

4 cups frozen hash browns, thawed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (or use diced vegetables for a vegetarian option)

1/2 cup green onions, chopped

6 large eggs

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the loaf pan)

Optional: Fresh herbs (such as parsley or dill) for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a loaf pan with olive oil.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese, crumbled bacon (or vegetables), and chopped green onions.

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.

Pour the egg mixture into the hash brown mixture and stir until everything is thoroughly combined.

Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, pressing down gently to ensure it forms a compact loaf.

Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the loaf is set in the middle and golden brown on top.

Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before carefully removing it and transferring it to a cutting board.

Slice the loaf into thick pieces and serve warm.

                  - Optional Garnish: Sprinkle fresh herbs on top for added flavor and presentation.
