Ingredients

For the Grilled Fish:

4 fillets of your favorite white fish (e.g., tilapia, cod, or halibut)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

Juice of 1 lemon

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

For the Crispy Fries:

4 large russet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin fries

3 tablespoons cornstarch

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinate the Fish: In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them well. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Prepare the Fries: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Rinse the cut fries in cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, sprinkle the cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper over the fries. Drizzle with vegetable oil and toss until evenly coated.

Bake the Fries: Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning them halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Grill the Fish: Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated fish fillets to the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.

Serve: Arrange the grilled fish on a plate, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve alongside crispy fries. Enjoy with a wedge of lemon for an extra zing!
