Ingredients

1 pound chicken tenderloins

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (such as basil, oregano, thyme)

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup unsalted butter, melted

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easier cleanup.

Prepare the Breading Stations: Create a breading station by placing flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, paprika, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper in a third dish.

Coat the Chicken: Take each chicken tenderloin and coat it in flour, shaking off the excess. Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat it in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere well.

Arrange on Baking Sheet: Lay the breaded chicken tenders on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded. This helps them cook evenly.

Drizzle with Butter: Once all the tenders are on the sheet, drizzle melted butter evenly over each tender to help achieve that golden, crispy finish.

Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 75°C).

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the chicken tenders from the oven. Transfer them to a serving platter and garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of color.
