Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) active dry yeast

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

¾ cup warm milk (110°F or 43°C)

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted (plus extra for greasing)

1 large egg

4 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Additional melted butter for brushing

Instructions

Prepare the Dough:

    - In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

      - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.

        - Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the melted butter, egg, and the frothy yeast mixture.

          - Mix until a dough forms, then knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

            First Rise:

              - Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours, or until it doubles in size.

                Shape the Rolls:

                  - Punch down the risen dough and transfer it to a lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces.

                    - Shape each piece into a ball by tucking the edges into the center, then roll it on the surface to create a smooth top.

                      - Arrange the shaped rolls in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, leaving a little space between each roll.

                        Prepare Garlic Butter:

                          - In a small skillet, melt ¼ cup of butter over low heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant but not browned. Stir in the chopped parsley and remove from heat.

                            Second Rise:

                              - Cover the rolls with a kitchen towel and let rise again for about 30-45 minutes or until they puff up.

                                Bake:

                                  - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush the tops of the rolls with the prepared garlic butter mixture. Reserve some garlic butter for brushing after baking.

                                    - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.

                                      Finishing Touch:

                                        - Remove from the oven and immediately brush the tops with the leftover garlic butter for extra flavor. Let cool slightly before serving.
