Ingredients

1 lb lump crab meat, picked clean of shells

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (plus more for topping)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

1/4 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

Olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Prepare the Crab Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the lump crab meat, cream cheese, mayonnaise, green onions, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, lemon juice, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix all the ingredients until well incorporated, taking care not to break up the crab meat too much.

Shape the Bombs: Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about the size of golf balls, or slightly larger if preferred. You should get approximately 12-15 crab bombs.

Coat with Breadcrumbs: Roll each crab ball in additional breadcrumbs to coat the exterior for a crispy texture when baked.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Arrange and Drizzle: Place the crab bombs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the top of each crab bomb to help them brown in the oven.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and heated through.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm as an appetizer with tangy cocktail sauce or a lemon aioli for dipping.
